Cristina Zaga is a PhD candidate at the Human-Media Interaction group (University of Twente) who studies human-robot interaction. Cristina has a background in Cognitive Science and Human-Media Interaction, she received a double Msc. degree from The University of Twente and Trento, and she has a professional experience in UX/IxD for social media technologies. Her research lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction, interaction design and behavioral science applied to the development of interactive technology. In particular, for her doctoral work carried out alongside the EU FP7 project Squirrel (Clearing Clutter Bit by Bit), she designs and evaluates prosocial nonverbal behavior for non-anthropomorphic to positively shape children`s social interaction in a shared task.
