I`m a high school student who lives in New Jersey. I enjoy all kinds of challenges, whether it`s solving a super hard (super fun) math or CS problem, finishing a long run in hot weather, or cracking a challenging cipher. Speaking of which, I love ciphers, and I actually fell in love with crypto just before I developed a passion for math and CS. My favorite kind of math problem is one with a "low-tech" solution that is short, sweet, and deceptively simple (i.e., simple to understand, but requires a lot of creativity to come up with). I would probably describe myself as adventurous and out of my mind. Apparently, I have greater than or equal to 3 lives. (Don`t ask ;) ;) My dream future job is probably a theoretical computer science researcher. My biggest role model is Sofia Kovalevskaya. Favorite quotes: "Many who have never had an opportunity of knowing any more about mathematics confound it with arithmetic, and consider it an arid science. In reality, however, it is a science which requires a great amount of imagination," and "It seems to me that the poet has only to perceive that which others do not perceive, to look deeper than others look. And the mathematician must do the same thing." Oh yeah, I also enjoy poetry (reading and writing it). But I prefer older poetry, as opposed to more modern styles.
