I consider myself a restless entrepreneur. I enjoy client work until I don`t. The problem with client work is that it just doesn`t scale. It`s the constant exchange of time for money. There are only so many hours in a day so your income is always limited. Yes, you can always hire more designers, developers, project managers, sales people, administrative personell, content writers, the list goes on. When you scale in this manner you end up getting to far from the metal. At this point in my carrer, I`m buying a ticket for a ride on the SaaS train. SaaS scales, clients are now customer (huge difference) and income is more predictable. Creating an MVP can be done with minimal investment in time and effort. Knowing your end user (or being one) is a major selling point. Investors understand SaaS applications and their potential. When investors are able to see, use and understand your product (product is an important term) they are more likely to invest. Want to see what I`m working on? Look me up and connect on Angel List.
