I began my IT career as a back-end developer at TUT. My first job entailed working with teams of developers to write apps with varying functionalities from mobile apps to web and a bit of games programming. Collaborating with other developers not only honed my coding skills but also taught me the value of how to effectively work with others and subdivide tasks to improve efficiency and ensure smooth teamwork. I then became a LEAD DEVELOPER with ICEP, designing encryption software and instructing clients in its use. With my experience in software development, back-end, and public speaking, I later decided to combine my skills and become a DevOps Engineer at TUTEH. With me at the helm coordinating the development and Operations team, I was able to design CI/CD pipelines that improved the company`s ability to design, debug and release software by 30%.
