I have used Game Maker Studio before I couldn’t really understand scripting part as much than the drag and drop functions. I want to accomplish goals through this program in order to bring things to life. For example, I began using Game Maker Studio to make games for others to play, I began creating my own cartoons using iMovie and Sketchbook Pro, I recently began learning to play new instruments to create my own music for my games and media, etc. Everything I am learning from this and other programs revolve around my creativity to create things for me and others. I am planning to be a long-time learner. Most of my interests branch off to others subjects creating a high chance that I will stay interested for a period of time. I love the aspect of learning new things since it gives me the ability to create my own projects. I began game developing since middle school as a fun way to create my own games and show them off to my friends, encouraging me to learn other stuff that actually branched off from game developing. From this, I became having a high interest in computers since I do believe they are the most useful piece of technology used basically anywhere, the government, businesses, and independent developers. By High-school, I built my own desktop computer for gaming originally and then soon started creating my own projects. People dedicate there time to gaming, something that my friends dragged me into doing. Soon after a when I built my PC, I have been hearing a lot about an OS that I have never heard of which was Linux. That was the time when I realized Linux was just the kernel of the OS and that people used the kernel to make their own distributions. This was the point where I was using sources from Khan and Lynda.com to expand my knowledge of this OS, from getting used to the OS environment to learning tty1 – tty7 or tty12.
