Mr. Preston started at the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) as a guest director and quickly progressed to Director of Performance Programs before being named Dean. Travis Preston also serves as Artistic Director of the Center for New Performance. Prior to joining Cal Arts, Preston taught at a variety of universities and theater training programs including Yale, Columbia, Harvard, and the New York University to name a few. Travis Preston of Cal Arts is internationally recognized as a director with shows touring worldwide.
