Kevin Raison has over 24 years of experience in artificial intelligence research, software development, and infrastructure engineering. Kevin is the founder and principal of Chatsubo Labs, a consultancy focusing on AI research and custom software development. In that capacity, he has worked on projects for DARPA, NASA, and ARL, ranging from autonomous spacecraft control systems to self-healing operating systems to fully autonomous cyber warfare agents. He participated in the 2015 DARPA Grand Challenge as a member of Smart Information Flow Technology`s Fuzzbomb team. Chatsubo Labs has also provided services to a number of web startups, including Zillow, Shiftboard and CompleteCase.com. In the distant past, Kevin worked for Amazon in its early days, writing software as part of the catalog search team. Kevin`s work in Affective Computing and Natural Language Processing has been presented at the Conference on Artificial General Intelligence, the IEEE`s Conference on Self-Adaptive and Self-Organizing Systems, and the 8th International Conference on Natural Language Processing, amongst others. As an active participant in the world of open source software, he maintains a number of publicly available code bases, including a graph database (VivaceGraph) and a Lisp-based NLP library.
