Software engineer, solutions architect, senior full-stack web developer. I`ve been working in open-source software stacks since the year 2000. I specialize in cloud infrastructure on AWS and NodeJS/JavaScript development with emphasis in REST APIs, Git, Docker, React.js, Postgres/MySQL/NoSQL, CSS/Sass/Webpack, and Laravel PHP framework. I`m a smart, ambitious, tech-forward full-stack developer who is passionate about delivering best-in-class solutions that contribute significantly to the success of your organization. I am entrepreneurially-minded, imaginative, introspective, and self-directed with the desire to dive deep into projects and bring insightful solutions to your team. Phew! That was inspiring, wasn`t it? My Toybox -JavaScript, Node.js, CSS, Web Development, React, MySQL, jQuery, Linux, Docker, NGiNX, PHP, API, REST, Redis, HTML 5, HTTP, SEO, LAMP, Apache, Laravel, Vue.js, phpBB, AWS, Amazon Web Services, Bootstrap, CodeIgniter, ZURB foundation, Composer, SSL, Continuous Integration, ELB, Jenkins, Circle CI, AJAX, JSON, S3, EC2, RDS, GitHub, Ubuntu, SSH, VueJS, Debian, PostgreSQL, npm, NodeJS, Gulp, Grunt, Sass, Less, MariaDB, SOA, keyword vomit, Bingo~! PHP – PHP has allowed me to rapidly prototype, develop, and deploy some amazing applications for the past ~17 years or so. I have an affinity for Laravel, Composer, RESTful JSON APIs, and run enterprise-grade PHP 7 workloads for multi-million dollar organizations in production. Just ask, I’d be happy to show you a few or even refer you to some of my larger clients that can attest to the quality and scope of my work. AWS - I love AWS. I consider myself an expert of all things on the Amazon Web Services cloud. I’ve attended the week-long AWS Re:Invent conference in Las Vegas for the past two years and leverage nearly every service AWS offers such as: EC2, S3, RDS, SES, Route 53, SNS, SQS, ElastiCache, ECS, CloudFront, just to name a few. I’ve architected, and on a daily basis I manage and maintain large fleets of load-balanced, auto-scaling, clusters in the AWS cloud. Docker/Linux – Whether it`s a Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or any other flavor of Linux, there is a good chance I’ve got experience running web servers on it. I’m a huge fan of Docker and the portability that Linux containers offer. Docker stacks provide identical environments in production and on local developer machines so there is no fear of PHP version mismatch or the dreaded "well, it works on my machine!".
