I’ve built an app for Fruitful Health LLC as a full stack developer. My responsibilities were to build a user interface with React and a backend with C# and SQL. While building the app, I spent a lot of time in an agile environment. My team and I did daily stand up to discuss what we’ve completed and what we’re going to complete for the day and if there are any blockers that would stop us from doing our job. I stay connected with the team on the slack platform and organized our workflow on Trello boards. My motivation for becoming a software developer stems from a childhood of tinkering. I’m always curious about how things work but I never thought anything of it. It’s like my hobbies to play badminton on a competitive level—I didn’t think anything of it. I don’t think it’s going anywhere but I still enjoy doing it. When I realized I can make a career out of coding. I literally dropped everything and I pursued it. I consumed a lot of free resources like Code Academy, Books, YouTube, and Stackoverflow. Until things got serious. I was vetted and brought onto a team of developers that was led by a senor developer. They gave me the tools and resources to advance React, C#, and SQL within a few months. I’ve reached a level of proficiency to create an app. That’s when we built my first app the bodywork Booker. I’m very much enjoying what I do. I get excited when I get to put an app together. In the future, I wish to become a leader in my field, recognized for my skill, and teach others to do the same. I think it is important to grow and be challenged. Which is why I`m open for exciting and challenging positions.
