is passionate about bettering the field of Orthopedics, especially from a Pediatric standpoint. He is a member of a number of societies devoted to such betterment as well. Currently, he is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society, the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America and the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society. Being one of the foremost names in Pediatric Orthopedics, Dr. Widmann has helped build the Lerner Children’s Pavilion and championed efforts to focus on clinical and surgical excellence, academic productivity, and providing top medical care for those children that are unable to afford it. His efforts have made great strides in the world of Pediatric Orthopedics, turning the Lerner Children’s Pavilion into the number one provider of pediatric orthopedic and pediatric spine surgery in the tri-state area. And as a chair holder for Lerner, he hopes to continue leading an effort for advancement and achievement in Orthopedics, especially for young children around the world.
