My love for Physics, Maths, Technology, and Problem Solving led me to make my career as an Electrical & Computer Engineer, with major interests in Embedded Systems and Hardware Design. As an engineer, I give great attention to detail and quality. I consider myself to have good taste in code (checkout github.com/TFotakis), being not only easy to read, manipulate, and extend, but also, where possible, optimized. I can also handle other people`s code with ease, taking into consideration projects such as mousmoulo.com which consists of more than 600k lines of code. Moreover, I try to be as flexible as I can without, however, losing persistence in my goals. I feel really comfortable working with a team, exchanging help, advice, and constructive criticism as it is a process of improvement. It is also the reason why I enjoy volunteering. Combining my studies with my strong creativity and entrepreneurship interest, it is made easy for me to come up with new ideas and possible products. For my future, I see incoming knowledge and new challenges as I really like learning constantly. From projects, such as PDC (Position Defined Controller, an IoT/Smart House appliances controller, which gained the 3rd place in preECESCON, a panhellenic 2-day smart house contest), Bicycle ABS (Automotive, Real-time, Cyber-Physical System), Distributed Smoke Sensing (Wireless Sensors Network) and others, I have gained experience in: • Analysis and design of embedded software • Embedded development tools (emulators, analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.) • Microcontrollers and Microprocessors such as AVR (ATMega328P), Espressif ESP (ESP8266, ESP32), T.I. 8051 (C8051F320-1) and radios such as T.I. CC2500 • PCB Design (Autodesk Eagle) My studies experience include: • FPGAs • VHDL • Vivado HLS • VLSI / ASIC Design • MIPS Assembly I am always looking for a new challenge, so if you need a helping hand do not hesitate and contact me.
