I started developing in August 2019. My background is in media production, and business operations. I made my transition into software by helping my company`s software team with QA in my free time. Long story short, they really liked how thorough my work was, and that I was willing to go the extra mile to get it done quickly, that they eventually asked if I was willing to make the switch. From there, I started developing Automation tests w/ Puppeteer and Cypress. My basic Javascript experience taught me that there was so much more to learn, and I began taking online courses to learn more about how to build a website, and started fixing the bugs that I was able to find in QA. I continued to grow my skills, and eventually was asked to start building components and pages in HTML/CSS, so our more experienced developers could focus their time hooking everything up, and finalizing pages. Eventually, out of curiosity, I began working with a backend developer coworker, who taught be the basics of connecting our components to our API. Currently, I am working as a full time front end developer, but I am always looking to learn more and grow. My long term goals are to learn how to develop applications from scratch, that I (and others) can use in daily life. There are so many amazing tools that I have found, and I would love to be able to contribute something actually helpful in some way. I`m interested in Video Games, Sports, and Real Estate.
