My journey has been a constant cycle of discovery, interest, engrossment, attainment, and exploration. I started off as a mechanical engineer, and eventually found myself in the field of software product development. I attribute this to my love of learning and my desire to never stop in my acquisition of knowledge. When I discover a new area of interest, I tend to go very deep into it in a short period of time. I read books on the subject, practice the skills however I can, and once I attain a certain level of adeptness, I emerge to explore and begin anew. I cannot fathom myself in a position where I am not constantly learning. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades, despite the negative connotation that that phrase may have. Most people assume that generalists have skill sets that are a mile wide and an inch deep, but in my own experience, and at the risk of sounding conceited, my knowledge and skills in any particular area is usually deeper than the average person in that field. As an engineer, designer, and consultant, I seek an opportunity to bring all these skills together and work with others who share the same interests.
