This five-day adventure starts from Manali and is one of the adventurous treks with a river crossing, hiking on snow, and crossing Hampta pass at 14100 feet. A road trip to Chandratal lake makes it icing on the cake, around 50 km from the last trekking point of the trek Chatru. This is an easy-moderate trek for beginners and experienced trekkers alike. The total distance covered on foot is 35km from a small village called Jobra covering Chikka waterfall, Balu ka Ghera, Shea Goru and Chatru in Spiti valley. There is heavy snow cover in June to July mid. After the rainfalls in July, there is lush greenery on the Kullu side and barren desert after crossing over to Spiti.
