I work at AVX Corporation in the Equipment Engineering department. I work with a team of engineers to produce and support manufacturing equipment to the corporation. I am primarily responsible for connecting equipment to enterprise systems. To reach this end, I have developed intranet web pages using ASP.Net MVC and React with Typescript. I have experience with protocols like EtherNet/IP, GPIB and MQTT. The vast majority of the software I write is in C#. Many machines we produce use desktop applications as the front end which are developed using WPF. A lot of our applications rely on databases which we use both EF and plain SQL. Being one of two software developers on the team, I have had the opportunity to become effective with many different technologies. ©
