The important things to know about me: I love dogs ; my pronouns are ey/em/eir; I picture myself as a little 14.5 yo queer kid with red hair; I believe in God ; I`m queer ; I like boys, girls, and every type of person there is; I started writing an LGBTQ YA novel in Oct-2021 and I currently have over 80,000 words of my first draft written; I love math and algorithms; I like Numberphile and other science-related channels; I stalk Matt Parker (@standupmaths), his birthday, December 22, is on my calendar and I make him an e-card every year; I use math and maths interchangeably, but "mathematics" is a singular word just do you know; I`m from southwest Arkansas , US, but I like using the metric system so my family has stopped asking me what the temperature is outside or how long something is; I use Adobe Illustrator when I`m solving math problems; I`ve had 5 dreams about spreadsheets this week; GIF is pronounced with a hard "G"; I get distracted at least once a day and go on tangents where I do something like writing the letters "G" and "Y" 2,000 times trying to determine version I like best; WorldWide Web is 2 words, and e-mail has a hyphen, but I`ve given in to website being 1 word; I had a Color Computer II when I was a kid, and my best friend had a Commodore 64; I almost always click send before I proofread and I often close the tab I`m working on, and curse my browser for letting me; I like watching Spanish, Mexican, Brazilian, Italian, and Korean Sci-fi and RomComs on Netflix; I took French in high school and college, so I have to listen to them dubbed; I did try to read subtitles but my brain can`t stay focused enough to do that; I averaged over 100 books read per year from Jan-2019 to Jan-2022. The rest of this is fluff . TLDR is I did stuff with stuff. But if you must RTFM here it is. Try not to guess my real age from this. I`m really a time traveler, and I also get tucked in at night. Some Languages/Coding/Design that I have experience with: Pascal, FORTRAN, DCL, C, C++, VBA, Visual Basic, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Java, TCL/TK, C#, CSS, Python. Servers/OS/Hardware/etc. VAX/VMS, Alpha, several web servers and e-mail servers, Windows and NT Servers, SQL server, Virtual servers, SCADA servers, legacy non-ethernet servers, EPROMs. Interesting projects Interfacing multiple non-ethernet systems and devices with web sites; installing SSL without instructions for a web server that hasn`t existed for over 20 years; hacking proprietary file systems and protocols to extract the data so my coworkers didn`t have to use shit software; Mac tech support for that one person who had to have it and they made me do it because I knew someone who used a Mac when I was at college IT`s TRUE!. I just ran out of allowed characters and had to delete some of it so that`s all I`ll tell you unless you find me on Twitter.
