If subjects were literary characters, mathematics would be Sherlock Holmes, and like any other kid, I have been obsessed with the series. Ever since I was a little kid, problem-solving has been my passion. During my senior secondary education, I found myself quite adroit at computer programming and mathematics, progressing to pre-final round in the national mathematics Olympiad. This passion carried me through to my master’s in Information system at Northeastern University. Here, truly I have learned from best resources and people. I studied new programming languages, algorithms, techniques with the same curiosity that drove me as a kid. I have spent the past 5 years doing number crunching and database management General ledger data. While working with HSBC software Development India, I started developing DataStage Mappings, sessions, workflows for transactional data. I also Developed Shell scripts to transfer files using FTP, SFTP, and to automate ETL jobs My professional stint at ADP has helped me acquire predominant exposure in payroll data analysis, business intelligence, market research, to deliver business expectations. Working with the onshore, offshore delivery model, Agile and DevOps have changed my professional approach. My statistical abilities include regression, time-series, Bayesian statistics, probabilistic component analysis. I am also proficient in Python, R, MATLAB and SQL and have experience working with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, ETL Datastage Development, Oracle, IBM Db2 and other business intelligence tools like TABLEAU, Power BI. Now, as I prepare to complete my Masters’, my passion remains with me. Although, there is undoubtedly yet more to learn, yet more to solve and yet more to build, I am ready for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
