I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Operational Research at the University of Mons, Belgium. My primary research interest is in applying geometric data analysis to statistical signal processing and pattern recognition problems. I have developed theory and created practical tools that leverage Riemannian geometry for applications such as hyperspectral image analysis, face recognition, unsupervised action recognition, and direction-of-arrival estimation in beamforming. Currently I am investigating multi-set canonical correlation analysis with small sample support, applications of Schubert variety constrained optimization, and low-rank matrix and tensor approximations.
