I`m a 53 YO happily married, very proud USAF Veteran, with 16 great years in service with AT&T in its many names (SWB, SBC, etc.). As much as I love my company and career, there`s nothing in the world that I love more than leaving on my motorcycle on that wonderful ride home. I live for riding on my `07 VStar 1300. It is my first metric, after having burned through three Harley`s before, that is. Ok, I`m kidding - I only burned up the Sportster. Ok, back to programming: Can you guess that I`m not a classically trained programmer/developer? I`m completely self-taught. I started out taking apart websites in the early 90`s, and taught myself basic HTML. From there I learned VBA, and a job doing spreadsheets led to an entry level Lotus Notes position which led to some actual training. However, that would lead me in another direction career-wise and I would train myself on MSSQLServer and Cold Fusion to eventually create a best-in-class enterprise-wide disaster-recovery and business-continuity data reporting solution that is the most awesome accomplishment of my career.
