I guess I’m a somewhat aspiring writer/blogger (I write A LOT in my spare time and daydream about one day publishing something) I started writing when I was around the age of 14, as I had an awesome English teacher who just inspired me to try out creative writing and from then on I have just loved doing it, not even for the purpose of one day publishing but for myself as a way of relaxing. I have always had a love of words. *I truly believe words are as close as we mortals will get to real life magic. But for most of my teenage years, I’d never really enjoyed reading as I found it difficult to find a book that could hold my attention and hadn’t ever thought about attempting to write a story myself. But after being taught by that one English teacher who just inspired me, and helped me find my love of the subject I started finding it easier to find books I enjoyed, and now have a very large collection of both hardback/paperback books and digital copies. *Amazon Kindle is somewhat of a life saver. And not only that but I have found a pastime I thoroughly enjoy most of the time. *Writer’s Block is the bane of my existence. One of the main reason’s I find creative writing to be such a rewarding and enjoyable pastime is because I’m a maladaptive daydream so instead of keeping my very vivid and intense daydreams in my head I write them down, it’s one strategy at curbing the intrusiveness of them, I give myself a set time to get lost in them. *When I’m sat in front of my computer, not when I’m trying to be a productive member of society. My Motto in Life is: If you look at the world through the eyes of a book, you`ll never miss the beauty again.
