My passion for code began in the mid-90`s with MS-DOS, BBS, IRC, dial-up, and the very early Internet. Through lines of HTML, my friend Luke and I caught national attention when USA Today interviewed us for a story about websites. I continued dabbling in code while pursuing my career in video content and entertainment. I am certified in Film Production from Vancouver Film School where I graduated with honours, and I also earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. For nearly fifteen years, I enjoyed working as a talent logistics supervisor for live tv events and a video content creator for artists and brands. In the summer of 2019, my wife`s music career began generating significant income. She asked me what I would do when she made a million dollars. My response was to further learn code, and buy a boat. She pointed out that a million dollars is $988,000 more than I would need to learn code. I am now a software developer, studying JavaScript, React, Python/Django at Nashville Software School, full-time, scheduled to graduate in June of 2020. I do not own a boat, yet.
