Philip McTigue’s experiences in the military and education have given him the opportunity to share his wisdom with others in his community. He has spoken at multiple commencement ceremonies in hopes of inspiring the future generations. Philip McTigue dropped out of college and joined the Marine Corps in 1989. While in the marines, he helped to locate weapons of mass destruction. His ten-year service had a positive impact on the man he is today. Combining his love of the military and education, he returned and received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in homeland security. Philip McTigue is now a teacher hoping to help his students find the path that best serves their passions, just as he did. Personal Bio
