I spend most of my personal time developing personal software, i.e. websites and games and things in general for my own amusement. In the past I have worked on multiple software projects in and outside of work. These projects range from small applications to help out with repetitive tasks, to full order processing systems and websites. I have around 10 years programming experience in total. This is among several languages and IDE’s. I consider myself somewhat of a Jack of all trades when it comes to programming. I used to work mostly in winforms, starting from vb, ending in c#, starting in excel, ending in visual studio and more, and I gradually moved over to mobile development (all OS`s) as well as web design. I prefer to make things work functionally, as oppose to making things look pretty though. I`ve turned into a Jack of all trades over the years for 2 reasons; because i like to try new things and am always excited by new technologies and like to be the one writing code for things that people in the street (non-programmers) are talking about. Additionally, my career has required me to work using a wide range of tools and languages. I`m usually the person my employers come to when they need something doing that none of us know how to do, as i can learn very fast and work easily with new technologies. However, if i were asked what i prefer doing, it would be working in winforms and c#. Though it is always nice to have a change and work on something different. I worked my way into programming (self-taught), as at my very first office job at 18, i was straight away confused as to why the computers weren`t doing 90% of the work for us. I later began to realise, it`s because noone knew how to make them do it. At which point i took it upon myself to be the one to find out, and ever since then i gradually climbed the programming ladder, to my current position as Lead Developer.
