I worked in computers for several fortune 100 companies for a looooong time. I have been heavily involved in everything from programming (c, c##, java, php, perl mostly with a little bit of other stuff) to middleware, to networking to hardware (servers & workstations) to graphics to everything related to company internet & intranets (email, web sites, firewalls, dns, etc.). From designing to purchasing to hands on installing to eventually management. I have not worked in sometime but my friends and I write some bots, do a little coding for ourselves, a little coding for friends and friends of friends and I love it just as much as I always did. Some things I have forgotten, somethings have changed and some I never knew because of how corporate environments work. Generally with a little nudge in the right direction, I can find a solution. Stackoverflow is my favorite go to site for answers or reminders. Some of my questions may sound silly from someone who has been involved with so much stuff but I don`t know (or remember) everything. The expertise and knowledge shared on this site is astounding. Done rambling now.
