I`m retired; my first use of a computer was on the Caltech IBM 7094 in 1963. First learned ALGOL 60 on a Burroughs and then FORTRAN 66 on a CDC 6600. Helped build an IMSAI 8080 in 1977. I got involved with UN*X when I discovered the Tandy Model 16B and 6000 running XENIX; since then moved through SCO and Microport to SunOS and BSD. I also have worked as a MS Windows sysadmin, the job from which I retired. My home system uses FreeBSD servers on the back end with Ubuntu Studio and MS Windows 10 Pro on the client end (I need to run Sibelius and my wife needs to run Quicken in a native environment). My other hobbies are audio (JBL Sovereign I in the living room, University 315C 200 in the rec room) and music (I play a 1958 Conn 12M baritone sax).
