I am 37 years old and a proud father of a nine month old boy named Caleb and a loving husband to Golda Obinzu. We currently live and own our home in Stone Oak. I am originally from New York City but spent some of my early years in West Africa. Before moving to San Antonio, I was a lifelong entrepreneur, owning businesses that each uniquely dealt with helping clients become their very best selves - which has led to my true passion: helping others heal, restore, and grow through compassionate care. My extensive fashion and retail background taught me the importance of personal presentation, self esteem, self image, and carrying oneself with pride and dignity. The fashion industry relies on outward appearances, people and presentation. My belief that every person is equal led to my success in managing my then hard-working staff, as well as multiple showrooms spread across the five boroughs. I had an opportunity to work with top industry designers, celebrities, and the famous New York Fashion Week. In 2004, I created a private fashion label called “chrisglory†and through hard work and dedication to my label, I generated gross sales of 1.3 million dollar in 2005. This later presented the opportunity to create Faces11 – a high-end fashion show platform that showcased couture labels for up and coming high-end designers during fashion’s week and fashion’s night out in New York City. A year following my relocating to San Antonio from the big apple, my entrepreneurial spirit once again led me to founding God and Christ Care Home Healthcare agency along side with my wife as partner. My main reason for opening up a healthcare facility was inspired by my father in-law, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2011. Unable to find a suitable and ethical agency to care for him – compiled with noticeable abuse and neglect from the caregiver we initially hired to care for him, my wife and I made a the bold move to later start our own agency. Intertwined with my ability to care for ones image and a background as a financial advisor for many years; I found a deep fulfillment in helping others plan for the long term. I understand that so much in life is out of our control, so we must plan for what is controllable, and I do this by helping individuals plan their wellness and finances. I have also work extensively with youth organizations through my church, helping to lead efforts that lift up the local homeless population through housing and financial discussions. My boundless spirit of generosity overflows into my work and my experiences with helping people in every facet of their lives - be it emotional, spiritual, financial, or physical.
