I am a Master`s student at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada. Since my undergrad days in the journey of becoming a Computer Science Engineer, I developed a keen interest in Machine Learning, to understand the various algorithms, the logic behind them and to apply them in various use cases. This interest instilled in me a dire desire to learn about techniques to learn and understand all the transformations performed on the data, right from the data source, to yield good results and insight and to use these findings to improve the current system. To gain more knowledge and insights into this field, I took up the Master`s course in Big Data Specialization at Simon Fraser University. During this course, I`ve had experience with various tools and technologies in Data Engineering and Data Science fields which greatly enhanced my skills. I got an exposure to real-world data and scenarios and I further sharpened my skills by applying them during my internship at ICBC.
