I am an expert Scrum Master (certified PSM II, PSM I, PSPO I, Less Basics) with 20 years of experience in software development, from which last 12 years in Agile and Scrum. My professional mission is to unfold the full potential of teams and organizations in the achieving of their strategic goals. My way is through the promotion of Agile philosophy and implementation of the empirical process control by means of Scrum / LeSS framework adoption, in connection with other frameworks and practices (e.g. Kanban, XP). During my career, I made a lot of different mistakes, that provided me invaluable learning opportunity for my professional growth. Nowadays, being a true Agile evangelist, I readily share my expertise with colleagues through organizing and taking an active role in Agile Communities of Practice. I cultivate Agile culture and promote as a critical success factor, that values and principles should drive people in choosing best practices, tools, and techniques, not vise versa. As a Servant Leader, I identify when I should protect teams and remove impediments on their way, and when the best choice is to help them understand how they can do it themselves. I definitely know when and how it is better to coach, to mentor or to teach. High-quality facilitation brings me a lot of pleasure, as thereby I help a group of people understand and achieve their objectives by promoting collaboration, optimizing the process and creating synergy. Due to my previous experience of working as a software developer and a traditional PM (certified PMP, Prince II) I have gotten a rare skill of considering various aspects from different perspectives. It gives additional valuable arguments, especially when I work with senior stakeholders. As a result, I effectively communicate with both business and technicians. Undoubtedly, the aspiration for finding happiness in what people do is the most powerful intrinsic motivation driving them at work. And this is applicable to me as well since all that I achieve in my role makes me happier.
