The American Crisis Prevention and Management Association was established with the goal of reducing problems arising from behavioral crisis. ACPMA conducts continuous research and offers updated training to individuals in different organizations because we believe that right knowledge leads to right response. Established over a decade ago, we have certified thousands of professionals including healthcare providers, teachers, security officers, etc. We conduct individual and organizational training and workshops. One of the course ACPMA offers is Crisis Prevention and Intervention. This course is available online and in class. (4) Personal safety measures. (5) The assault cycle. (6) Aggression and violence predicting factors. (7) Obtaining patient history from a patient with violent behavior. (11) Restraining techniques. (12) Appropriate use of medications as chemical restraints.
